Tollywood Picture Spotlite: Devullu (2000). 
Two kids, a boy and a girl, are the victims of the unhappy marriage of their parents, Raasi and Prudhvi. The parents' hatred for each other is so severe that they cannot even bear the sight of each other. Disgusted at their intolerance for each other, they decide to take the legal way out - divorce. The children decide to change their parents' minds, and seek their grandmother's help. She tells them that they are facing all these troubles because she had not kept up the promise of visiting the gods for making her son, Prudhvi, successful in life. And so the gods are angry with their parents.
